I was in search of mini-bongos to use while sitting at my computer, as traditional bongos are too large and heavy for my needs, and they often require a stand. I was concerned that these might sound dull due to their low price, but I was pleasantly surprised. They produce a nice, bright sound. The construction is decent—nothing extraordinary, but sturdy enough to withstand regular use. I’m quite satisfied with my purchase, which is why I’m sharing this review. Just keep in mind that they are indeed mini.

This product is far too small—no child would enjoy it due to the terrible sound quality. The craftsmanship is lacking, and the drumheads seem to be of poor quality. Overall, it’s a useless instrument since it’s nearly impossible to produce a decent sound without using drumsticks, which will quickly damage the drumhead. Definitely not designed for that! I’m sending it back; it’s disappointing and overpriced!
